Custom list templates: what they are and how to use them

Our new custom list templates make setting up deals easier than ever. With this functionality, dedicated template admins in your firm can capture and reuse knowledge from existing matters or create new templates to share with your team.
You can now create templates:
- from existing lists in matters (if you’re the matter administrator)
- from existing template lists (using the platform’s default templates or your own)
- from scratch
Why is this feature so useful?
While Legatics includes over 40 templates that cover most practice areas, we understand that standard templates might not meet all your needs. Our new custom list templates let you go further by creating personalized templates tailored to your firm’s specific practice areas, jurisdictions, and legal workflows.

Now, you can build and store unique templates in Legatics, offering you the best of both worlds.
Avoid duplicating work every time you create a list you’d like to reuse. Our lists can store files, so if your template needs specific documents, you can simply upload them—bringing everything your lawyers need together in one place.
We can also add your firm’s branding to templates created outside of Legatics, for a professional and consistent look.
Better categorizing and tracking
Organize and tag your template types by practice area, client, or industry for easy access. You can also monitor template usage with a real-time count of how many users have accessed each template.
