TLTF Summit: AI, client relationships, and the future of legal work

Anthony Seale (CEO) represented Legatics at the 4th annual TLTF Summit in Austin, Texas – a flagship event examining how AI is reshaping legal service delivery, client expectations, compliance, procurement and the skills lawyers will need for the future.

A clear theme emerged: firms with strong process discipline and structured data foundations are the ones best positioned to harness AI effectively.

Key themes included scaling AI responsibly, client-facing AI, AI-driven profitability, upskilling teams, reimagining knowledge systems and leadership approaches to driving adoption.

New blog: What clients actually expect from law firms

Our latest article explores a growing disconnect in the legal industry: while clients now expect digital-first, transparent, and fast service, many firms still rely on traditional, fragmented workflows.

Drawing on industry research and insights from legal operations leaders, the blog examines:

  • Why transparency and real-time visibility are no longer optional
  • How speed – in communication and deal execution – directly impacts client satisfaction and profitability
  • What modern clients expect from service delivery, collaboration, and pricing
  • Why client experience is becoming the primary differentiator in an increasingly competitive market

Featuring perspectives from Chris Grant (Goodwin) and Rusty Fleming (Nelson Mullins), the article outlines what clients actually value today – and why firms that modernise their transaction workflows are better positioned to retain and win work.
