In case you missed it: Legal Week 2025
We had an incredible time at Legal Week in New York – it was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with legal industry leaders and engage with new professionals who are reshaping the legal landscape. We were also thrilled to be part of the LegalTech Trade Mission 2025, jointly led by Department for Business and Trade and GREAT Legal Services.
From insightful conversations to a standout networking evening with our friends at StructureFlow, Orbital, Definely, Avvoka, and MinuteBox, the week was packed with valuable moments.

Real Estate forum 2025 highlights
On 3 April , we hosted legal professionals and industry leaders for a dynamic discussion on the future of real estate transactions. On the horizon: Project Finance forum 2025
Aggregation innovation – how do we deliver platform financings?
Join us for our upcoming Project Finance forum, where legal and finance professionals come together to explore the future of complex infrastructure and energy transactions. This annual event brings sharp focus to the unique challenges of project finance – and how legal teams can respond with greater agility, insight, and innovation.
As renewable energy markets mature, the efficient financing of smaller projects – especially in emerging technologies like battery storage – has become a key challenge.
This panel brings together leading voices in project finance to explore how aggregation, innovative structuring, and portfolio approaches are unlocking new opportunities.
Core themes:
- Aggregation strategies: bundling smaller projects – including batteries and co-located solar-plus-storage – into scalable, bankable portfolios.
- Financing innovation: structuring for higher leverage and shorter tenors in battery deals; optimizing flexibility through platform models.
- Cross-border & political risk: using platforms to access stable markets; navigating political risk in higher risk jurisdictions.
- Technology & standardization: automating processes to manage multiple closings common to portfolio financings and reduce due diligence friction.
- Efficiency & risk management: streamlining execution while balancing lender risk and sponsor expectations across diverse technologies.
📍 Where we’re headed next
Future Lawyer Milan – Our Head of Customer Success Sally Roberts will be on stage for the panel: Adoption is Adoption, Or Is It? The panel will explore how real innovation in legal services can stem from people, processes, technology – or a combination of all three. The discussion will cover themes such as the role of change management in driving successful innovation, whether traditional approaches still serve today’s fast-evolving tools, and what “next-generation change management” might look like in a modern legal environment.
